We work directly with an exclusive network of carefully selected, top-tier manufacturers whose craftsmanship and production capabilities meet our standards. Each partner is vetted to ensure they hold the relevant certifications and are equipped to meet UK requirements. Our long-standing relationships with these manufacturers are at the heart of what we do, giving us the trust and direct access needed to manage bespoke production effectively.
We manage and oversee the entire process, from technical specification through to production and delivery. Before goods leave the factory, our team carries out in-person inspections, checking the finished pieces against the agreed specification and quality standards. Throughout every stage, we keep you informed with clear visibility of production, quality control and delivery, so you know exactly how your order is progressing from factory to site.

I started Macalin when we were building our own home.
Going through the entire process gave me a firsthand understanding of how exciting (and overwhelming) creating a home can be. Beyond the endless decisions surrounding interiors, finding the right products is only part of the challenge. Specifications, supplier coordination, quality control, and logistics all need to come together seamlessly.
Having grown up in Guangdong Province, I had the advantage of having connections and working with top-tier manufacturers and leading factories across the region. Working directly at the source enabled us to access exceptional quality and craftsmanship without the inflated markups and complexities of a traditional supply chain. I wanted to make that same access available to other homeowners, developers, and designers.
I founded Macalin to bridge that gap between world-class international manufacturing and UK luxury residential design. Today, Macalin acts as a single, trusted point of contact, managing every phase from initial specification and custom production to site delivery and final installation.
